Wal-Mart shoppers near Jacksonville, Florida got quite the surprise this week.

Via McGraw’s mother Betty Trimble, Tim & Faith paid off layaway balances and even handed out cards with cash inside to Wal-Mart shoppers. A card reading “Merry Christmas, Tim McGraw + Faith Hill and Family” is all shoppers received, along with a receipt showing their outstanding balance has been paid.
