An 11-year-old girl couldn’t stomach the idea that 4,000 kids in her community are homeless and felt compelled to help out. Emily Inch got to work to raise money to make sure all these homeless children didn’t go this winter without shoes. She started an organization called – Soles for Kids Shoe Drive. Now being 11, Emily doesn’t exactly have unlimited funds, so she did research and found Youth Service America. It’s an organization that helps fund kids efforts to help out their communities, and Emily won $500 for shoes!
