When a child loses a stuffed animal, you can imagine their despair, but this time around there is a reunion! A little boy named John left his toy Pup Pup in a rest stop restroom. This was absolutely devastating because John and Pup Pup are inseparable! John’s father Shon Downey tore the car and house apart searching for Pup Pup. Little did they know, Pup Pup was on an 11-day journey.

A woman named Katie found Pup Pup in that rest stop bathroom and instantly knew he needed to be returned to his owner. So Katie took him on adventures. She took Pup Pup everywhere and constantly posted on Facebook about how she’s trying to find his rightful owner. Katie and Pup Pup’s posts went viral. 50,000 shares and thousands of comments from all across the U.S. later, someone recognized Pup Pup. John’s preschool teacher, Deborah, knew who the little toy belonged to immediately since he brings it to school every day! Deborah got in touch with John’s dad Shon and Pup Pup was on his way home!
