When you have to leave your home and all your belongings behind, is it too much to ask for a stress free vacation in Pigeon Forge? Well, for Deanna Feist and her husband it was, because their car died. Thankfully, a complete stranger gave them cash for a new car battery.
Deanna and her husband stopped by a restaurant to grab a bite to eat in Pigeon Forge while being evacuated from their home, but their car died once they got in the parking lot. Since they saw there was a wait, Deanna put her name on the waitlist, and joined her husband back outside where he was asking a gentleman for help getting a jump.
Nice gesture right? Well, it goes further. After the couple had their meal, turns out they had asked the right guy for a favor. He’s the manager and sent out an envelope with $200 and a letter that said,
“You are probably here to escape the Hurricane Irma. My brother lives in Tallahassee, Fl. I am saddened to see such devastation in this beautiful state. I hope everything will turn out ok for you guys. Enclosed please accept my gift to you in case you need to buy a battery for your car. Also I am enclosing a meal ticket so you can come back to eat here.
Good luck and Thanks for visiting my restaurant
Mo Tamaddoni General Manager.”
