A mom stood on street corners for 79 days panhandling to raise money for her daughter’s education. Can you imagine? Lori Truex spent her entire summer was spent asking for money just to put her daughter through school. Each day, she would hold up a sign asking for money around town and even brought proof that the cash was for a legit reason incase anyone thought it was a scam. Along with panhandling, Lori had a GoFundMe account set up as well and total has raised over $10,000.

This week, Lori had to end her campaign because she goes back to school as a bus driver. Thanks to Lori’s effort, her daughter Kendall moved into her dormitory just a few days after her 79 days of panhandling ended.
