Country artists use social media because they have to.  If they’re smart, they do it right and get tons of free publicity, but Keith Urban says they should never care what people say, because they might make a weak choice just to please everyone.

“I think this is the big struggle we have right now with social media.  We become too self-aware, and it’s the death of art.  [It] should never be, ‘Oh, my God, what are people going to think of this?’”
