We have an amazing update on a Kickstart the Love from July! You may remember the kid who was given a car after he walked 20 miles to work when he had car trouble. Now he’s paying that generosity forward!
Back in July – Walter Carr walked 20 miles to work when his car broke down. It was his first day working with a moving company and he wanted to be professional so he did what he had to do. When the CEO of that moving company heard about Walter’s efforts, he handed him the keys to his own personal car. Since then things have just ballooned with kindness.
Walter decided the GoFundMe that was set up for him was way more than he needed! The account brought in $90,000 but Walter explained that he only needs $67,000 to get through school so now he’s paying it forward. Walter donated $25,000 to the Education Foundation that had helped him in the past! Walter wants to make sure other kids have the same opportunity as him to get through college too. He even goes to schools around his areas and gives motivational speeches on never giving up!
