You know what an important job every Elf on the Shelf has. They keep an eye on kids and report back to Santa on who is going on the naughty list and who belongs on the nice list. Unfortunately, one Elf was injured in the line of duty. Sam the Elf was attacked by a German Shepard. Now Sam belongs to the Thelen home and Mom – Jenn woke up to her 7-year-old Aubrie screaming when she found Sam injured by their dog Zoey.

Thinking quick, Mom – Jenn, who is also the nurse manager for an emergency department knew they had to get Sam some help. Jenn and Aubrie took Sam to the hospital and had doctors get to work on Sam. Now you know the rule, you cannot touch one of Santa’s elves. So these special doctors even used a pair of special magic Santa gloves to protect Sam. The doctors bandaged Sam up, sprinkled some Christmas glitter on him, and he was able to head home that day.
