A group of students had the chance to help a teacher going through a really hard time and showed how much he really means to all of them. Nathan Neidigk teachers high school calculus and is just one of those teachers that students really gravitate towards. No matter what goes on in his life, he shows up and teaches the students how to persevere. A few years ago Nathan’s wife passed away and he’s been raising their 2-year-old son, Mikey solo. Recently, Mikey was diagnosed with leukemia and started chemo immediately. When Nathan’s students learned about the struggle he was facing, they decided to pool their money together and do something nice for him. They bought him a Nintendo Switch. Nathan broke down in tears when he opened up the gift.
