Thousands of people are helping make a terminally ill 9-year-old boy’s Christmas extremely special a little early this year. Jacob Thompson has been battling stage 4 neuro-blastoma since he was 5 years old and he has just one wish for his final Christmas. Jacob wants to be able to celebrate Christmas one more time so a month early he’s asking for Christmas cards. Jacob’s mom posted on Facebook last Friday about his wish with the address to send mail. On Monday (two days later), Jacob received 14,000 cards to his hospital room and thousands more have been pouring in ever since from strangers all across the nation.
