Garth Brooks is taking a look back at his career with a 5-part multi-media anthology that is available in stores and online on Nov. 14 with a first volume that dives into his first 5 years in the business, he said “The first 5 years were the craziest and most busy and disappointing” Find out why he thinks this, get the book!
Part 1: The First Five Years, Garth tells the stories behind creating, recording and promoting his first five albums for Capitol Nashville and his first major record label deal, come aboard and witness the ride to being the greatest selling artist of ALL TIME. Garth’s memories are supplemented by others who were there with him from the very beginning, including the songwriters, musicians, and Garth Brooks’ longtime manager, Bob Doyle, who I got the honor to shake his hand and meet for the very first time this past Thursday night at MBS.
The 240-page hardcover book includes more than 150 never-before-seen photos, as well as 5 CDs, including outtakes, first takes, demos and masters. Of the 52 songs included on the CDs, 19 are new, unreleased or demo versions. Garth says “most of this music he had forgotten about and never intended for it to be for public consumption, but times change and he knows his true fans will love every inch of this journey through the good times and the bad”.
I cannot wait!
