What 5-year-old is capable giving away their birthday money to charity? This little girl, Ella, she just turned 5 years old and decided to turn her birthday money into a donation for flood victims in Houston. Apparently, she just couldn’t stomach seeing all the hardship on TV knowing she had $10 in her piggy bank.

Now, Ella’s mom was so proud, they took her generous offer to Facebook to bulk it up. After the Facebook community heard about Ella’s donation, they added another $280. Enough to buy 146 cases of water! However, after seeing the power of social media, Ella and her mom aren’t done yet! They’re starting a collection for diapers to send off to Houston as well!
