Before Hurricane Harvey hit, this hawk could sense that something wasn’t right. He flew into this man’s car and never left his side! Let’s be honest, if a wild hawk flew into your car or my car, we would probably shoe it out. However, this man saw the fear in this bird’s eyes and let him stay by his side. This hawk was way too scared to fly into the windy conditions even after this man tried to set him free a few times! The man actually let the bird in his home and named him Harvey. Harvey the hawk hunkered down with the man all through the storm. Obviously though, Harvey is a hawk at the end of the day and this man couldn’t keep him as a pet. After the weather passed in the area, a local wildlife conservation group came and took Harvey and brought him back to their center to make sure he didn’t need to be rehabilitated today. Thanks to this man, Harvey survived Harvey.
