Going to an arcade is just a staple for a kid, but when you have autism the environment can be a little overwhelming. That’s exactly what Stephanie Saad learned when she took her 4-year-old twins Jordan and Sophie to a Dave & Buster’s near Boston. Stephanie’s little boy, Jordan, has autism and after 5 minutes of being int he arcade, they had to leave because it was too much for him.
Stephanie knows Jordan loves video games and decided to reach out and just ask when would be a less busy time for them to come back so Jordan and Sophie can enjoy the arcade like everyone else.
The manager got back to Stephanie and said Dave & Buster’s would be willing to open a few hours early just for them so the kids can play together and have fun like every other kid gets to enjoy!
