Meet Popeye, the recently rescued former-stray who eats like a doggy king every day. Popeye’s new owner Ivy Diep found him on the streets eating only what he could find. She already had a full house of dogs, and wasn’t looking for another adoption at the time, but nobody wanted him, so she decided to keep him anyway. It wasn’t long before Popeye made himself at home with Ivy’s other dogs and everyone fell in love with him.
One of Ivy’s friends, Jen, suggested she make an Instagram account for Popeye. Ivy and Jen already went on “Instagram Dates” where they would take pictures of their food, so she started taking Popeye whenever she could. She realized that Popeye is very well behaved around food and makes for good photos. She gives him nibbles of things that are safe for him to eat, and carries around a bag of doggy treats in case there is nothing on the menu that he can have.
